The Screen is On, but It's Not Responding to Touch

If the monitor isn'tis not on, see My Screen Just Went Black and None of the Equipment is Responding!

CHECK: USB cable

The monitor sends touch information back to the PC kind(similar of liketo a mousemouse) by a USB cable on the back of it. This is the most likely problem.

You

TRY canTHIS: tryReseat the cable

Try reseating it or replacing it with a differentthe cable ifin thatthe doesn'tmonitor work.and in the PC. It will justmay be plugged into any USB port on the PC, but one actually on the PC (instead of the splittersplitter) is preferred.

ALSO TRY: Replace the cable

If the cable has been reseated and is plugged directly into the PC (not the USB hub) and it still does not respond to touch, try replacing the cable.

If you need a replacement cable, cable it's the same as a printer cable, which is USB Type A on the monitor end and USB typeType B on the PC end. A USB 3.0 cable would be ideal, although 2.0 should work, and since the PC and monitor are close, 3ft should be plenty.

  • USB Type A to USB Type B
  • 3.0 ideal, 2.0 acceptable
  • 2 or 3 feet long
