Reprint a Receipt for a Completed Point of Sale Transaction

This article will show you how to reprint a receipt for an order completed at the POS.

Step 1 - Navigate to Orders

To reprint a receipt for a POS transaction, we must navigate to the Orders screen. Start by hovering over Commerce in the Management Menu.

When the menu expands, click on Orders in the Management Menu.

Step 2 - Access the Order to be Reprinted

You should now be looking at your orders.  We now need to find the appropriate POS order in orders. Start by using the filters to switch Type to Point of Sale. From there, add any additional information you may have to the filters to help narrow down the list you're presented. If nothing shows, start removing some of the filters. The most likely situation for this is someone's going to ask you for a reprint of a recent order, so in most situations, it should reside toward the top of whatever list you're presented with.

When you find it, click on the order to open it.

Step 3 - Modify the URL

Once you have the order open, then redirect your attention to the URL bar in your browser. In the URL, remove commerce/orders making sure to leave number and the slash before it on end of URL intact, as it is key for the order you're looking at.

Replace it with trackside/pos/receipt, and press enter.

This will prompt you with a printer dialog box, just as if you'd just completed the order. You will now print the receipt as normal.
