The easiest way for thisThis error tooccurs appearwhen isyou fromhave inputtingcreated the same event twice. When the ticket products generated by the Event Setup Assistant are set on the same day with the same variations fortwo events with the exact same Event Listing name,name as would happen whenand the same event isdate. createdThe whileproduct variation SKUs are generated based on the oldbeginning letters of the event name and the event date, so if you make the same one stilltwice exists,you duplicateare duplicating the Product SKUs willwhich alsocreates bethis generated.issue. Trackside won't be able to tell which of the SKUs it needs to sell.

To resolve this problem, the moremost recent (duplicate) Event Listing andAND associated Participant Registration Product and General Admission Ticket Product must be deleted.

YouSince shouldn't be able to sellno Products from the moremost recent Event Listing inwere theory,sold since there's a duplicate SKU, butyou are safe to delete these. Just remember the rule of thumb, never delete a Product you've already sold tickets for. IfIt's somehowpossible you manage to sellsold tickets on both of the duplicated Event Listings, unpublish both events, create a 3rd event, and name it something slightly different toward the beginning ofto the event name.created You'llfirst thenbefore haveyou toduplicated transferit, anyso previouslyjust purchasedmake ticketssure foryou eachare user todeleting the newcorrect event,one.

(Transfer a Ticket / Product) or use the Event Cancellation feature and let them re-buy new tickets. Either way, on the day of the event, be prepared your customers may try to present the wrong tickets since there's no way to take back the old emailed tickets. Urge them to delete the previous emails.
