Loading Paper in the Trackside Handheld

This article will aim to make changing the paper in the Trackside Handheld a breeze.

Step 1 - Obtain the Correct Paper

The paper in the Trackside Handheld must be 2 1/4 inch x 50 ft (57mm x 15.25m) thermal paper in order to function properly. The paper must be of the thermal variety to work in the Handheld.

Step 2 - Remove all Debris from the Paper Well

Remove anything that is currently occupying the space where the printer paper resides inside the Handheld. This is to include all cores from previous paper rolls, small bits of remaining paper, or dust bunnies.

Step 3 - Load the Paper into the Handheld in the Correct Orientation

When loading the new roll of paper, you will want the loose end of the paper facing up on the end of the roll facing you. In the world of toilet paper, this is referred to as the "under" method. All heresy aside, this is the only direction the printer will print in. Make sure when you close the door, you leave a little paper above the door so it can feed more through as it needs.
